I recently bought a bracelet type band (similar to those friendship bands kida wear) and it was simply a colorful band with these colors. Through the band, we are given the Christian basis of our beliefs. Below is that color band explained. It has been a great witnessing tool that I have been able to use recently when someone asks me what the band represents. I hope you find this as interesting as I did and if you find one in your local Christian store, pick one up and begin to use it as a witnessing tool!

Who is Jesus?

In chemistry, He turned water to wine.
In biology, He was born without the normal conception;
In physics, He disapproved the law of gravity when He ascended into heaven;
In economics, He disapproved the law of diminishing return by feedin 5000 men with two fishes & 5 loaves of bread;
In medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of drugs,
In history, He is the beginning and the end;
In government, He said that he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace;
In religion, He said no one comes to the Father except through him;

So? Who is He? He is Jesus!

He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.

What must I/You do to be saved?

Repent.

That word means to "turn around." Turn from your sinful, selfish way of life and turn to God. You must admit that you are a sinner. Recognize that you are going the wrong way and desire to go God's way

Receive.

Ask the Living Lord Jesus Christ to be your Savior. Accept the punishment that He paid on your behalf. Ask Him to come into your heart, to wipe away all your sins, to make you born again, to put you on the road to heaven.

Receiving Christ is done with a prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. You can pray to Him outloud or in the quietness of your heart. Pray this prayer from your heart. Be very conscious of Whom you are talking to. He will hear and He will save you.

"Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and forgive me of all my sins. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. I recognize my need for You because I admit that I am a sinner. Make me born again. Place me on the road to heaven so I can be with You forever, even after I die. Help me to follow you, to serve you and to grow in my relationship with you. Thank you Jesus. I love You."

Now that you have received Christ as your savior, you have become born again. You are a true Christian and will go to heaven when you die.
